Painting with Apples

Before beginning this art project I had the kids brain storm objects we could paint with other than a paintbrush.  Little did they know we would be painting with apples.  I cut the apples as they instructed how I should cut them.  This allowed us to get different shapes and sizes for our make shift paint brushes.  I cut one of the apples horizontally so the kids could see the star shape the seeds and core create.  Below are the artists in action.
